(It is recommended your points and condenser should be replaced as a set, I must admit I never have done and never had a problem in 15 years of driving air-cooled VW's but I always carry spares.) Tools and Parts required;

It is recommended to grease up your beam every 6000 miles or at least once a year. Additionally I was advised recently that you should raise the front taking the load off the components before completing the work.

On the last Friday of each month for those in and around the local area we meet at the Chalkhill Blue pub on the outskirts of Andover where we get together for a drink some food and a chat.
